Training Practice

We are a Training Practice which means we are involved in training medical students and qualified doctors who are training to become GPs. You may be given an appointment with a training doctor; these doctors are fully qualified and are supervised by senior members of staff within the Practice. We will often have medical students from the University of Edinburgh sat in with us observing consultations and you might be asked if it is ok if they lead the questioning or examine you. This is a crucial part of their learning but if it is something that you do not feel comfortable with then please let Reception know.
