If you have a muscle or joint problem that may benefit from physiotherapy then you can now self refer without needing to see a GP first.

If you have pain in your lower back (including sciatica) you can now self-refer directly to a new specialist digital service which offers same-day appointments 24/7. The service is delivered by NHS Lothian’s clinical partner, Flok Health.

Children’s Physio Helpline
Children and Young People’s Physiotherapy Service helpline is open on Thursday mornings 9 – 11am (Children’s physio helpline leaflet.)
